Logan and Emilee

We didn't really do anything for Logan on his birthday during the week. Logan had a birthday party at the park on Saturday after his birthday. Two people he invited showed up. We still had fun playing our games. A final friend showed up just as we were planning to leave. We stayed for about an extra hour. Things turned out well, but I wish I hadn't been rushing to finish things up (especially the cake) when it was time to go.

Emilee's final gymnastics day went well. I was afraid I wouldn't make it inside in time, but I did. The first video is from the week before as I feel that showed better what she can do. The rest are from the final day. I'm so proud of Emilee and the progress she has made.

Wrapping up activities

As we are in the last few weeks of the school year, the extracurricular activities are finishing up. Rachel had her gymnastics performance this past Tuesday. She was with all preschool-age kids. The show was fun to watch. Rachel got to show her stuff on the vault.

It has been fun for her this semester, and I've noticed improvement as well as natural ability. We plan to continue over the summer. Hopefully I can help out more with practicing at home.
Logan had his final two baseball games last week. He has done well, though I think it's still hard for 5/6 year old boys to keep their head in the game the whole time. He had a good set of coaches and a good team with some boys from our ward. He was given the "Inspirational Hustle" award by his coach for hustling around the bases. I think Logan's favorite part of the season was getting a snack ticket for the snack bar after each game. He also enjoyed the water balloon fight started by his coach.

Emilee will have her gymnastics show this Tues. I have noticed a lot of improvement with her. I wish she would practice more at home so she could improve even more. She does well on the vault and bar and has very good form.
